Text Box: Alex Hernandez, midfielder, UNLV - Hernandez, a sophomore, recorded a hat trick as UNLV upset the University of Connecticut 6-1 Saturday night.  The Rebels now stand at 4-2-0 for the 2001 season year to date.  





Andy Dorman, midfielder, Boston University - Dorman had three goals and four assists to lead the Terriers over George Mason 6-2 and Quinnipiac 4-2 in the Diadora Classic hosted by the University of Rhode Island.  Against Quinnipiac he had a goal and two assists.  In the match against George Mason he tallied two goals and two assists in route to being named the Tournament MVP. The 2 wins improved the Boston University record overall to 4-2-0.   



Chad Dombrowski, defender, Wisconsin-Milwaukee - The Panthers have allowed only six goals in eight matches and are 6-2-0  year to date.  Dombrowski and Evan Richardson, both juniors,  combine with freshmen Trent Furtsch and Khaled El-Ahmad to give Wisconsin - Milwaukee a very competitive back line.  Dombrowski is a solid player who has also contributed to the Panther attack  by recording a goal against Southwest Missouri State and  an assist in their win over Dayton.  


Ben Dawson, defender, Penn State - Dawson played solid defense for the Nittany Lions as they defeated Southwest Missouri State 1-0 and the Creighton Bluejays 2-1.  He also tallied a goal in the Penn State win over Big East Conference foe Michigan.  The Nittany Lions are currently 5-1-0 and have only allowed one goal in their last four matches.  





Scott Maslin, goalkeeper, Duke - Maslin recorded his fourth shutout of the 2001 season when Duke defeated Maryland 1-0 on Saturday.  The Blue Devils now have four shutouts in six games.  On the season year to date Maslin has a goals against average of .50.  Maslin has shutouts in the Duke wins over Massachusetts, Richmond, and most recently Radford and Maryland.  Duke is now 4-2-0 overall and 1-0-0 in Atlantic Coast Conference action.
